Top Things to Know for the 2019 Elections

  • Apex Mayor is on the Ballot - Apex Police Captain (ret.) Jacques Gilbert is the only person who filed and will be Apex's next Mayor
  • 3 candidates are running for 2 open seats on the Apex Town Council: Wes Moyer is running for re-election. Terry Mahaffey and Cheryl Stallings are running. Bill Jensen will end his 4th consecutive term on the council. 
  
  • October 11 5PM - The deadline for voter registration in the municipal election for Apex.
  • October 29 5PM - Absentee by mail Request Deadline 
  • November 5, 2019 - Election Day!

  • The Town Council is established to protect the citizens and provide residents with urban-type services. Examples are: water, sewer, police, streets, transportation, recreation, garbage collection and recycling, land use planning and fire protection.
